Nationwide Moving

LTS maintains partnerships with local movers all over the USA. LTS' skilled and "travel-tested" project managers will fly, train, or drive to direct a local mover from start to finish, ensuring the same level of service our clients are accustomed to in the New York Metro Area. From Seattle to Miami and everywhere in between, if your office is relocating or if you need us to long-haul items across the country, LTS is ready to assist.

Storage / Asset Management

LTS stores furniture, fixtures, equipment, files, and supplies at our temperature-controlled facilities in Long Island City, NY, and Maspeth, NY. With over 100,000 square feet of supervised warehouse space, both short and long-term storage is available.

Project Management

LTS project management services include pre-move management meetings and an extensive move plan detailing every aspect of your project. Throughout the entire relocation process, LTS project managers communicate with your point-of-contact facilitating your logistics needs, all the while making sure the move runs smoothly and stress-free for you.

Packing / Unpacking

LTS offers packing and unpacking services for commercial clients. Our color/number-coded labeling system ensures your files, equipment, etc., will end up exactly where you want them in your new office. Furniture and fragile pieces are thoroughly wrapped in preparation for transit and safely delivered to their destination.

Crating

Antiques, precious art, and fragile/delicate items need special care and extra attention. During the move walkthrough, prior to contracting your assignment, these items are identified. Wooden crates are built specifically for these pieces in LTS’s warehouse and brought to the job site on move day. Your crated belongings will be delivered safely in the same condition as they were before the move.

Technology Disconnect / Reconnect

LTS takes pride in its thorough, detail-oriented disconnect/reconnect processes. When contracted for disconnect/reconnect services, one of LTS’s in-house Technology Directors will schedule a meeting with your IT Director to identify the unique needs of each department. Wire Management mock-ups are created prior to move day upon request.

Furniture De-Install/Re-install

LTS’s carpenters are experienced with all contract furniture systems and can handle all your de-install/re-install requirements. On larger, furniture-heavy moves, the furniture is moved first and rebuilt quickly, allowing for technology placement in a timely fashion. This approach minimizes manpower costs.

LTS is an authorized dealer of Tayco, a worldwide leader in office furniture, headquartered in Toronto, CA. If you’re looking to relocate and wish to outfit your new office with a fresh, state-of-the-art feel, LTS would love to populate your space with the best in modern office solutions.

Since LTS specializes in office liquidations, ask your LTS sales representative if there is a current stock of used seating, conference tables, reception desks, or specialty items for your new office setup.

Liquidations

For items such as task chairs, guest chairs, desks, tables, file cabinets, etc., that you won’t be taking to the new address, LTS will help defray the cost of relocating and clearing out the old space. We will work to find buyers for your surplus assets.

Charitable Donations

If you have a charity in mind that would like to accept your donation of used furniture, LTS offers maximum discounts on the labor required to transport your donation. This process reduces landfill usage and can provide a tax write-off to offset relocation expenses.

Broom Sweep

Just about every office lease mandates a broom sweep following move-out. After relocation, the LTS crew ensures the space is ready to be handed over to building management by thoroughly cleaning and vacuuming, maximizing the chance of deposit returns.

GREEN Disposals

If certain items cannot be liquidated, your LTS project manager will work with you to determine the most GREEN and cost-effective disposal strategy, utilizing on-site garbage compactors or direct recycling facilities. LTS often achieves a landfill diversion rate of up to 70–80%.

More GREEN Processes

When feasible, LTS uses plastic crates rather than cardboard boxes. If cardboard boxes are required, we recycle those that might otherwise be discarded by other vendors.
