Nationwide Moving

LTS maintains partnerships with local movers all over the USA. LTS' skilled and "travel-tested" project managers will fly, train or drive to direct a local mover from start to finish, ensuring the same level of service our clients are accustomed to in the New York Metro Area. From Seattle to Miami and everywhere in between, if your office is relocating or if you need us to long-haul items across the country, LTS is ready to assist.

Storage / Asset Management

LTS stores furniture, fixtures, equipment, files and supplies at our temperature-controlled facilities in Long Island City NY and Maspeth NY. With over 100,000 square feet of supervised warehouse space, both short and long term storage is available.

Project Management

LTS project management services include pre-move management meetings and an extensive move plan detailing every aspect of your project. Throughout the entire relocation process, LTS project managers communicate with your point-of-contact facilitating your logistics needs, all the while making sure the move runs smoothly and stress-free for you.

Packing / Unpacking

LTS offers packing and unpacking services for both commercial and residential customers. Our color/number coded labelling system ensures your files, personal items, etc. will end up exactly where you want them in your new home. Furniture and fragile pieces are thoroughly wrapped in preparation for transit and safely delivered to their destination.

Crating

Antiques, precious art and fragile/delicate items need special care and extra attention. During the move walk through, prior to being contracted with your assignment, these items are identified. Prior to the date of your move, items designated for crating are measured. Wooden crates are then built specifically for these pieces in LTS’ warehouse and brought to the job site on move day. Your crated belongings will be delivered safely in the same condition as they were before the move.

Technology Disconnect / Reconnect

LTS takes pride in its thorough, detail-oriented disconnect/reconnect processes. When contracted for disconnect/reconnect services, one of LTS’ in-house Technology Directors will schedule a meeting with your IT Director in an effort to identify the unique needs of each faction of your corporation or even the unique needs of each individual employee (if that’s what the requirement calls for). Spreadsheets and checklists are created prior to the move. Wire Management mock-ups are encouraged and created prior to move day upon request.

Furniture De-Install/Re-install

LTS’ Carpenters are experienced with all contract furniture systems and can handle all of your de-install/re-install requirements. On larger, furniture-heavy moves, the furniture is moved first and rebuilt as quickly as possible, thereby allowing for technology to be properly placed in a timely fashion. As a result, your manpower costs are kept to the minimum.

They say timing is everything: Since LTS specializes in office liquidations, ask your LTS sales representative if there is a current stock of used seating, conference tables, reception desks or specialty items for your new office set-up.

Liquidations

For items such as task chairs, soft seating, guest chairs, desks, tables, file cabinets, etc. you won’t be taking to the new address, LTS will help your organization defray the cost of relocating and clearing out the old space. Simply tell us which items you wish to liquidate and we will do whatever it takes to find prospective buyers for your surplus assets.

Charitable Donations

If you have a charity in mind that would like to accept your donation of used furniture from the space you’re vacating, LTS offers maximum discount for the labor required to transport your donation. Donating furniture takes it easy on the environment by mitigating landfill usage. When the timing of a charitable donation works out, your tax write-off further offsets the expense of relocating.

Broom Sweep

Just about every office lease mandates a broom sweep following the move out. Some landlords are tougher about this than others. After your firm has relocated and the space is cleared of furniture, your LTS crew works tirelessly to pick up all loose garbage, paper clips, push pins, etc. (with the help of our magnetic sweepers) and vacuums the floors – ensuring the space is ready to be turned back over to building management. LTS takes great pride in helping you get that deposit for the old space returned.

GREEN Disposals

If we cannot assist you in liquidating certain pieces, your LTS project manager works with you to determine the most GREEN and cost-effective strategy to dispose of and/or recycle surplus items via the use of garbage compactors brought on-site and/or transporting furnishings directly to recycling facilities. LTS offers a unique disposal method and often achieves a diversion from landfill rate of up to 70 – 80%. Inquire about our diversion from landfill certification process or schedule a walk-through at one of our partner’s facilities to learn more about our GREEN (as it can be) disposal methods.

More GREEN Processes

When feasible, LTS utilizes plastic crates rather than cardboard boxes on moves. If cardboard boxes must be used, we recycle cardboard that might otherwise be discarded by other vendors.

Additionally, LTS matches its diverse truck fleet to project size in an attempt to eliminate the need for extra trips between origin and destination, thus reducing our carbon footprint.
